Know for certain that thou art thyself GOD ,
The supreme Self , the eye of the eye ,
Which the eye cannot see .
Thou art the essence of speech ,
Which speech cannot express .
Thou art the hearer of hearing ,
Which the ear cannot hear .
Thou art the life of life ,
Who needest not the life-force to live .
Recognize that thou art the light of the mind ,
Which the mind cannot know .
